When you install Checkout Extensions we receive basic store information from Shopify — your shop domain, owner email, currency, and timezone. Inside the app you create configuration records such as upsell rules, banner content, and survey questions; we store those so the blocks render correctly at checkout.

We never store your customers' personal data. Checkout extension blocks run entirely inside Shopify's infrastructure and do not send customer information to our servers.

The information we hold is used solely to run and improve the service: authenticating your store, rendering the blocks you have configured, processing your subscription through Shopify Billing, and responding to support requests. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.

We may also send you product updates and occasional newsletters. Every email includes an unsubscribe link — one click and we stop.

Our marketing website sets a small session cookie to keep you logged in to the app dashboard. We also use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic patterns — page views, referral sources, time on page. These tools operate under their own privacy policies.

You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies at any time. Doing so may affect certain parts of the dashboard but will not affect checkout blocks shown to your customers.

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, provide the Service on our behalf, or assist us in analyzing how our Service is used. These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

All data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Shopify access tokens are stored encrypted at rest and rotated automatically. That said, no system connected to the internet can promise perfect security — we apply industry-standard controls and will notify you promptly if something goes wrong.

Our servers are located in the United States. If you are based in another country, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. Data protection laws there may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the service you consent to this transfer.

Our website and docs may link to third-party sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies before sharing any personal information with them.

Checkout Extensions is a business tool for Shopify merchants. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may revise this policy as the product evolves. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page changes. For significant changes we will send an email notice. Continued use of the app after a revision means you accept the updated terms.
