By installing Checkout Extensions from the Shopify App Store or accessing any part of the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not install or use the Service.

If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Checkout Extensionsprovides Shopify checkout extension blocks — including upsells, trust badges, banners, surveys, and related features — that render inside your store's checkout, post-purchase, and thank-you pages. You may use the Service solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with applicable laws and Shopify's own policies.

Checkout Extensionsrelies on Shopify's Checkout Extensibility platform. Checkout UI extensions are available exclusively on Shopify Plus plans. It is your responsibility to maintain an eligible Shopify subscription. We are not liable for any loss of functionality resulting from a change to your Shopify plan.

Access to Checkout Extensions requires a paid subscription, billed through Shopify Billing. All plans include a 14-day free trial; your chosen plan fee becomes payable at the end of the trial period.

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis. You may cancel at any time from the app's Billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 14 days' prior notice delivered via email or an in-app announcement.

The Service, including all software, designs, text, graphics, and other content, is the exclusive property of Checkout Extensions and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service.

You retain full ownership of the content you create and configure within the app (e.g. upsell offers, survey questions, banner text). By submitting that content you grant us a limited licence to store and display it solely for the purpose of operating the Service on your behalf.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written consent.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or other malicious content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately if we reasonably believe you have violated any of these prohibitions.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components, nor that any defects will be corrected.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Checkout Extensions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 30 days immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify store. We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion if you breach these Terms, with or without prior notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimer of warranties, and limitation of liability — will remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Service or applicable law. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. For material changes we will notify you by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
