Gift Wrap & Message
StarterA gift message text area shown directly at checkout. Customers type a personal note for the recipient. A live character counter shows how many characters remain. The message is saved as an order attribute so your fulfilment team can act on it.

How it works
- Renders a text area inside checkout where customers can type a personal gift note.
- A live character counter shows how many characters remain as the customer types.
- Section title, subtitle, and message field label are all configurable.
- The gift message is saved as an order attribute visible in the Shopify admin.
- Display conditions let you show the block only when specific cart totals, products, item properties, customer tags, or other criteria are met.
- Configure in the app, then paste the block key into the Checkout Editor block.
Translations
This block supports translations for every language published in your Shopify store. Open the block editor in the app, click Translations, select a language, and enter your translated text. The correct language is shown to customers automatically based on their storefront language.

Quick setup
- 1In the app, go to Gift Wrap & Message → click New and configure the section title, labels, placeholder, max character limit, and any display conditions
- 2Copy the block key shown at the top of the editor
- 3Open Shopify Admin → Themes → Customize → switch preview to Checkout
- 4Click Add block → find "Gift Wrap & Message" → paste the block key into the Block key field
- 5Click Save and preview your checkout
