Update Quantities & Remove Items

Starter

An Edit link opens a quantity stepper popover below each line item. An optional Remove link lets customers delete items without going back to the cart.

How it works

  • Renders an Edit link and optional Remove link below each line item in the checkout order summary.
  • Clicking Edit opens a popover with a quantity stepper.
  • Changes are applied immediately to the cart.
  • Maximum quantity per line is configurable to prevent over-ordering.

Quick setup

  1. 1Open Shopify Admin → Themes → Customize → switch preview to Checkout
  2. 2Click Add block → find "Update Quantities & Remove Items"
  3. 3Toggle the Remove button on or off and set the max quantity per line in the Customizer panel
  4. 4Click Save and preview your checkout
